Dr. Emily Ozmun grew up right here in Phoenix, Arizona, and has loved animals for as long as she can remember.
As a kid, she spent countless hours riding horses and found any excuse to be around animals—whether that meant cleaning stalls or volunteering at local vet clinics.
She graduated from Washington State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 and went on to complete an equine rotating internship in Scottsdale. After more than five years working in equine medicine, Dr. Ozmun shifted her focus to small animal care, working in a Scottsdale general practice for three years before becoming a relief veterinarian. These experiences have given her a broad, well-rounded and flexible approach to veterinary medicine.
Her special interests include dermatology, ultrasound, and caring for senior pets. She loves building relationships with pet families and helping keep their companions healthy at every stage of life.
When she’s not at the clinic, you can usually find Dr. Ozmun traveling, trying new adventures, or enjoying time at home with her partner, Ryan, and their goofy Doberman, Strudel.
