I am from Cove, OR. A small town of 500 people with a beautiful view of the Grande Ronde valley!
I spent my teenage years in 4-H and FFA raising sheep and showing horses. After graduation from Cove High School, I spent 9 years at Oregon State University where I earned my Bachelor's and Master's degrees and graduated with my DVM in 2022. I worked at a very high-volume clinic in Oregon for the past 15 months where I gained immense experience and developed incredible skills in soft tissue surgery, reproduction, and dermatology. A large population of our patients were bulldogs and I have a special interest in brachycephalic dogs and their care. Other interests of mine include ultrasound and cardiology.
Outside the clinic, my hobbies include anything related to sports (Golf, basketball, and weightlifting). I played the Tenor Saxophone in the Oregon State University Marching Band and I am currently learning how to play piano.
